Kuroko no Basuke (Kuroko’s Basketball) is a Japanese manga about basketball which was written and illustrated by Tadatoshi Fujimaki. The manga series first came out in December of 2008. Kuroko’s Basketball tells a story about a high school basketball team which is trying to make it to the Interhigh.
The eponymous manga series is published in Weekly Shonen Jump, and its animated adaptation is produced by the company Production I. G.
Season 1 of Kuroko’s Basketball was released in 2012. The third season is coming out in January of 2015 and given the great popularity of the manga and its animated adaptation, we expect to see season 4 sometime in the beginning of 2016.
The basketball team of Teiko Middle School became famous after demolishing all competition. The regular players of the team got a nickname of "Generation of Miracles". After graduating from middle school, these five star players went to study in different high schools all with prominent basketball teams. There was also another, sixth player on the team, which was not a very well-known fact. He is now a student at Seirin High School, a new school with a powerful basketball team. Kuroko Tetsuya, the sixth member of the "Generation of Miracles", and Kagami Taiga, a very talented player who has just moved back to Japan after studying in the US have a goal of making Seirin basketball team the best in Japan. In order to achieve that Kuroko has to beat all his former teammates one by one.
The company Production I. G. hasn’t yet made any official statements with regards to season 4 of Kuroko’s Basketball, but we think a lot of facts imply that it will happen soon. Check back with us for updates.

Nevertheless only few have known that a "Phantom Sixth Man" exists that is part of "Generation of Miracles" with extraordinary skills. This player is named Kuroko Tetsuya which is now a freshman of Seirin High. Together with another talented player, Kagami Taiga, are taking Seirin's Basketball Team to the top by challenging the scattered players that came from Generation of Miracles all across the country.
